Probiotics
NHP became a pioneer in the development of patented probiotics that have stress resistant properties over the past 4 decades. We developed some of the first commercial probiotics in the world. With our 33 DNA-sequenced strains we developed a range of products, sold under our own brand, white labelled and contracted for other companies.
Antioxidants
NHP developed antioxidants, sourced from natural sources, with very reactive properties as scavengers of free radicals and heavy metals. Trials revealed it was possible to replace at least 50% of Vitamin A and Vitamin E with our antioxidants. It was also evident that it was effective in most cases to lower high blood pressure. With its antiviral properties it is is included in numerous alternative antiviral treatments and compounds. Independent tests against other commercial brands showed for our antioxidants to be at least twice as effective than the other brands.
Nutrition
NHP specializes in the development of technologically advanced nutrients. High quality alternatives for animal derived nutrients are expensive and we made it our mission to supply high quality, yet affordable nutrients from plant origin to the market. One of our latest developments is a Microbial derived protein (MDP), high in the essential amino acids including those that is not found in sufficient levels for human needs in other plant based proteins, acceptable for vegans. We also manufacture high-end protein and dietary shakes and instant meals used in different markets which include markets for weigh loss, body building, food schemes ass well as breakfast cereals.
Colostrum
NHP manufactures a bovine colostrum concentrate powder, derived from the first milking of cows post partem. With an exceptional high quality, rich in amino acids, immunoglobulins, lactoferrin and other benificial factors, our colostrum is used in hospitals, pharmaceutical compounds and dietary supplements.
Sceletium
Sceletium tortuosum is a succulent plant found in the dryer parts in Southern Africa. It is well known for its sedative effects and is used as treatment for depression and anxiety. It has also been used as an aid during the treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. NHP produces Sceletium concentrates in powder and liquid form and also as an oil to be used in electronic cigarettes.
